Daily Blog #63 “Going off Grocery List, and being happy with the results (Look at whats in front of you) and writing against all odds”

Wednesday Afternoon

It is a beautiful Wednesday, although the weather has nothing to do with that.

I am having a pretty good day, probably because I am keeping my body fueled on the things it needs.

Namely fruits and veggies, and of course, my morning everything bagel with cream cheese.

Last night, if you will recall from the blog, Bret and I went grocery shopping. We made a list of items we needed, and while we did get some of those items, like shampoo and conditioner, bagels, etc, we ended up changing our plans for food for the next few days, and threw the list to the wolves as we frolicked around the Kroger’s.

We ended up getting a bunch of fruits and veggies, and some staples, so I am in a really great mood from eating the foods my body always craves.

Basically, my body likes carbs, in the form of everything bagels and potatoes.

But I also like to eat a bunch of food, as in volume, which is where lots of fruits and veggies come in.

So, despite going “off” our list, and doing what is considered one of the worst things to do when grocery shopping. In fact, all of the “save money” and “Eat healthy” tips involve making a careful list and sticking to it like glue.

Some of the fruit we got.

In our case, eschewing this list was incredibly wise, because we got such healthier better foods. We actually looked up from our list and focused on the food that was there, in season, in good quality, while also affordable.

Sometimes life is like that I suppose. The rules always have exceptions, and this was one of those times.

So, all in all, very great.

As usual, I have a ton of writing to do, and very little time in which to do it, so I am working on getting out of work as soon as possible and getting some writing done. For now, I think I will pause here, and work on getting home.

Wednesday Night

Well, it’s not late, but it isn’t early, but I am trying to get things done. I did dishes, worked out, and mapped some dialogue. I have so much writing to do, so I will be brief.

Today was stressful, but I am proud of myself for putting my best self forward for most of it. I followed my “Sour Milk Theory Compromise” from an earlier blog, and it helped. Better yet, I have the sense of accomplishment to be happy about too.

Of course, it wasn’t easy. But, it’s done, and the next two days look to be much better, due to me working hard on the tasks at hand, and of course, proximity to the weekend.

The plans this weekend will be a quick cleaning on Friday, a ton of writing, and then a little G.Y.S.Ting on Sunday and the how to clean your bong blog goes live.

I am planning on attacking Flake City, Molly on the Island (with Gordo), and some blogs, and I may also work on the big scene I have been storyboarding.

Tomorrow is Thursday, but the week has been so rough, I am going to say my “bad day” of the week is over.

Or else so help me…Shakes fist

In all seriousness though, my plan is to stay positive, avoid any zombies, and write in any spare second I find. Tomorrow evening I don’t have a work out scheduled, so that time will be going to the writing as well.

Anyways, in order to have a good head on my shoulders for tomorrow, I could use some rest, or at least a little rest and the knowledge that I finished everything, so I am going to draw this to a close.

I hope your Thursday is going great, or whatever day it is when you read this.

❤️
