Daily Blog #220: Ideal day update

Greetings and salutations, blog readers!

Today, I am updating everyone on my Ideal Day.

Months back, I discussed what an ideal day would include, and now, due to the coronavirus, I have more time on my hands, and I am able to work on “what do I want”.

Now, first things first, I will say I haven’t done a perfect job of getting it all sorted and doing what I want, but it took some time to adjust. I almost immediately fell into a nocturnal schedule, and I don’t really want to change it much, but I do need to be more aware of how my time passes, because I shouldn’t wait so long into the day to start working on my personal projects, content, or goals for the day.

Also, I need to actually work out during the day, something I struggle with.

Moving forward, until I return to work, I want to spend a minimum of eight hours a day on my blogging and writing, an hour on working out (yoga, mountain climbers, stationary bike), and a few more hours on various projects I am working on creatively that I don’t always talk about. I also have vlogging, which adds, on average, a few hours per filming or editing day, which would be counted in that project time.

When I don’t have to go to a day job, the details of the hours aren’t are crucial, so instead of making a schedule, I am assigning time values to each task.

That being said, I also know that sometimes I don’t need to spend that much time on it.

After all, some days you knock out five blogs in a couple hours and you are left with hours of free time. This is the energy I am hoping to have this week, but either way, in that spare time I can prepare for day when I don’t have as much energy.

But, even knowing what I want to do, I do need to follow some form of a schedule, or else the day will disappear. On top of this, we have the fact that I don’t really have the regular day to follow for hit points, so…I am working on better figuring out how to govern myself.

Which, I am sure anyone could tell you would have been a problem, but I didn’t know it would be this tricky. Equally trick is not knowing how long this new schedule will last, but I need to just buckle down and make it happen.

As I mentioned in yesterdays blog, I am spending today G.Y.S.Ting, and tomorrow prepping for the week…my goal is to start Monday strong, with a strong plan for my content goals, my schedule, and life.

Today I am getting my shit together and ensuring tomorrow’s day of prepping goes well, to launch me into a kick ass Monday.

I have some skin care I want to do, and some stuff for me I need to do, on top of my to do list, so I will wrap this blog up here saying…

Sometimes, even if you know what you want your perfect, ideal day to look like, you still need an action plan to make that day happen, so “seize the day” when you are able, and make sure you are aiming for your ideal day.

Thanks for Reading!
