Greetings and salutations, blog readers!
Today, we are doing a brief review of my March Ipsy bag!

So, with this bag, I had one item I got to pick, and I added some items for a little extra. I will denote which items came with the bag, which items I added and paid for, and which item I picked.
The items that I got and will be reviewing today were: Luxie 640 Pro Precision tapered Brush in Periwinkle, Illamasqua Black Eyeliner, Awake Lip Therapy Lip Mask, Pacifica Beauty Wild Hemp Eye Shadows in Quartz, Dusty, Smokey Quartz, Tiger, Crystal Flower, Kensie So Pretty Fragance. For the final included item, was the item I got to choose, which was The Dewy Skin Cream from Tatcha. The two items I paid for and added on were the Hey Honey Show your Flow Colloidal Gold and Honey Beauty Mask, and the Face Mask duo in hibiscus and Acaid berry tea and Lemongrass and green tea sheet masks from Bubble T.
I don’t want this blog to be too very long, so lets get into this review of my March Ipsy bag!

First was the brush from Luxie, the 640 Pro Precision tapered Brush in Periwinkle. I have tried several Luxie brushes and I have several in my brush collection, so I was glad to get another one to use and add to the mix. I was excited to try it, and while it is a precision brush, I wouldn’t call it that, to me, this brush was better as a light blender, for those of us who like to smooth stuff out and provide for a natural look.
Either way the bristles didn’t seem very well suited for precision work. Not to say I didn’t like this brush, because it ended up being a great brush for nice blending, and, like all Luxie brushes I have tried thus far, the bristles were wonderfully soft and the brush was a cute addition to my collection.

Next up win the March Ipsy Bag review is the Illamasqua Black Eyeliner. I have actually had the chance to try this eyeliner before, so I was glad to see it again. I am not good at liquid liners, but this liner is one of two that I have managed to use and not mangle up too badly.
I have managed to do basic wings and nice top liner, and I have also been able to add this to my usual bottom liner to add a bit more of a dramatic pop on my eyes, which, as anyone who looks at my selfies knows, I love a dramatic pop to make my green eyes sparkle.
This eyeliner is a great one, and if you get a chance to, try it. Even if you aren’t much of a liquid liner, this applicator is great and is good at teaching you how to rock a wing too.

The next item is the Awake Lip Therapy Lip Mask and I love it. I am a big fan of most lip masks, but too many lip masks end up being the same variation of the same recipe…basiclaly, something with an oil with something abbrsive, you put it on your skin for a few minutes to let the oils sink it, and the abbrasive material, like sugar, exfoliates the dead skin off your lips.
These are a lovely type of masks, but I like a long lasting hydarating mask, an overnight mask would be ideal for a lip mask…and that is exactly what this mask is.
At first, I was worried it was too sticky, and wouldn’t be good, but thus far it hasn’t been much of a problem as I put my hair up. This mask, once applies, sinks in and sticks to your lips. I will smoke a blunt or pipe before bed, and still have some on my lips. I will sometimes add some more before falling asleep, but when I wake up my lips are so happy, so hydrated and smooth, fantastically soft.

I love this mask, and I may have to buy some more, or something like it, when I get close to running out. Thankfully, this stuff is one of those classic “a little goes a long way” recipes, so it will be a while before I have to look into buying some.
Great product, highly suggest.
Next up, we have the Pacifica Beauty, Wild Hemp Eye Shadows in Quartz, Dusty, Smokey Quartz, Tiger, Crystal Flower. This pallet had me excited, thinking I would have some beautiful colors for a great hemp infused look! Sadly, this palette didn’t quite do what I wanted, but, I am going to play with them a few more times before I post this blog, so I can make sure this is accurate.

I like the formula, the consistency is beautifully creamy and smooth, with some nice sparkle in three with two matte shades for creases as well.
Overall, a great eyeshadow pallet, but the colors work best with other shades, so they can compliment and build a look. I would highly suggest this with a nice pink shade or two.
I have never received a fragrance in a Ipsy bag, after over two years, but now…now I do! I received the Kensie So Pretty Fragrance and was blown away by its lovely, light scent and wonderful strength. This perfume has a wonderful hang time and great mix of scent, and overall, is a great fragrance.

The next item is the item I got to pick, The Dewy Skin Cream from Tatcha. This cream was so wonderful, I ended up doing a whole different and separate review blog for, so I will link that here, and if you want to read it, please feel free to do so. If not…just know this cream was fucking amazing.
The next two items were purchased and haven’t been used much or at all at the writing of this blog, so, just know I love this brand, and I can’t wait to try them. When I do, I will edit this.

The sheet masks are awesome! I tried the Strawberry and was delighted! I have tried this brand before, which is what made me want to try the sheet masks, and this was a wonderful addition to a self care skin care routine I did. Felt great, and could feel it really sinking into my skin, giving a deep and lasting hydration. Super glad I grabbed these.
I can’t wait to see what is in my bag for April! If you want to try out Ipsy, feel free to use this referral link, and I get points for more stuff to review on this blog!

All in all, I am pretty pleased with my bag this month. The eyeliner wasn’t needed or used much, but I love the product, same as with the eyeshadow. I am obsessed with the Tatcha Cream, and love the sheet masks I purchased. The lip mask I got is a star that steals the show, and the brush is a welcome addition to my ever expanding collection. I found a new fragrance, and was overjoyed to finally get one. All in all, I would say this was a very good four out of five star bag. Maybe even four and a half stars.
Thanks for Reading!
